Book Review: You, With a View by Jessica Joyce

When trying to figure out the last big secret, Noelle ends up on an adventure.

You, with a View is a debut romance adult novel by Jessica Joyce.

While grieving the lost of her grandmother, Noelle Shepard finds some letters and pictures from her past, hinting a secret love before Kat meant her husband.

Noelle decides to post the letters and photos to TikTok, hoping to find the man in the photos and learn more about the story her grandma never her.

When she gets a response, she meets Paul, her grandma's first love, and his grandson Theo. Except, she knows Theo, her old high school rival who is thriving in the business world. She and Theo were always at odds in high school, competing in academics and sports.

After finding out about Paul and Kat's planned honeymoon road trip, Noelle decides to do it, hoping to fall back in love with photography, which she hasn't done since losing her job and her grandma.

While they travel through the western US, Noelle starts to learn that not everything is as perfect as it seems for Theo. She also starts to learn that maybe her photography can be her career, with the responses to her follow-up TikTok videos.

As the trip continues, Noelle and Theo seem to forget about their rivalry and grow closer, leading to decisions that are made once they return home.

I really, really enjoyed this book. It was a fun road trip novel, with a lot of growth in the characters. Both Noelle and Theo have a lot to learn about themselves and each other, as well as what they want once they get home. There are basically two love stories happening at once, with both characters grieving in different ways for different things.

I think the journey of grief and having to work things out was really well done.

I will say, this book is definitely for an 18 and older audience in some aspects.

A 4 out of 5 star read!
