Happy New Year Friends!
I'm excited to share some plans/goals and changes to the blog over the next year. I'm thankful for all of you who have kept up with this adventure the last year and am very excited to expand my blogs and musings and share more with the world.
As always, I plan on sharing reviews of books both old and new. I had a good amount of 2024 arcs I'm ready to read for early parts of the year and share with you all.
Now first, for some goals I have for myself this year when it comes to reading.
I want to read more nonfiction books this year, one way I am keeping track of this is a reading challenge on the app Storygraph. My goal is to read one nonfiction book per month, to get through some of the books that have been sitting on my shelf for a few years.
I want to get more involved within book clubs, either in person or online. I'm working on creating connections on an app called Fable.
I want to create more bookish goods and stickers to share with you all! I currently have an Etsy Shop with stickers and I'm hoping to get more available this year if things go well!
Now unrelated to 'follow this link', I also want to work on writing my own story. I am currently holding myself to finishing a manuscript by the end of 2024 and am excited to share that journey with you all.

My name is Allison, and I am one of Maggie’s meteorologist friends. While not pondering the pouring rain, I write, read, and eat my husband’s home-made culinary creations.
